Alliance card
In the year 2009 The Alliance and the European Youth Card Association (EYCA) decided to start cooperation.
What does it mean for you?
New „Alliance Card“
EYCA issues the Youth Card <26 in 40 countries which is in use by 4 million holders and offers 100,000 benefits and discounts to the owners all around the Europe. It is meant NOT only for students but for all young people!
EYCA is not only issuing cards, but has also many interesting projects for young people all over Europe. Moreover, EYCA is Partner of the Council of Europe and has a “Partial Agreement” within this frame, the so-called “Partial agreement on youth mobility through the Youth Card”. This means that EYCA as INGYO is supported by the Council of Europe, as well as by governments.
The Alliance is happy to have co-branded the Alliance Card with EYCA and make its benefits available to volunteers joining Alliance workcamps. The Alliance Card gives more visibility of the Alliance and its members, as well as recognises the participation in voluntary projects. It furthermore provides volunteers with the possibility of gaining information on European youth policy.
